SUMMARY
A species of predatory gastropods. Thais species are abundant on rocky intertidal shores feeding mainly on barnacles, bivalves and limpets. Many drill holes in their prey using the radular teeth combined with acidic secretions from a special gland in the foot. They are often covered in epibiota and difficult to identify.
