Morula ceylonica  

A species of predatory gastropods. Morula species are abundant on rocky intertidal shores feeding mainly on barnacles, bivalves and limpets. Many drill holes in their prey using the radular teeth combined with acidic secretions from a special gland in the foot. They are often covered in epibiota and difficult to identify. Similar to Morula granulata but distinguished by the cream colored aperture and the apertural teeth are of equal size.
