Monodonta labio
General description:
Distinguished from M. canalifera by the nodular shell and more pointed spire. These gastropods inhabit the mid-levels of rocky shores and are active grazers on epilithic algae on rock surfaces. They graze on algae using the brush-like radular teeth.
