Chthamalus malayensis
General description:
Flattened with diameter up to 8 mm. Shell is ribbed and brownish-grey but may be corroded on wave-exposed shores. 6 shell plates with rostral plate overlapped by those on either side. Membranous base.

Distribution:
Found on rocks from Prapas Beach, Ao Khloei, Laem Som and Ko Ra. Ranong Province. Outside the region this species has been found in the Arabian Gulf, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, S China Sea, Philippines
Habitat:
Eulittoral (mid to high) of rocky shores from semi-sheltered to wave-exposed.
